 Mankessim Senior High Technical School (Manstech) is the first secondary cycle institution established in the Nkusukum Traditional area of the Mfantseman West constituency in the central Region in 1991. The school was originally established to run Techy and General Career programmes Mankessim Senior High Technical School is a mixed sex institution that operates on boarding and day resident in basis. To provide quality education; social, emotional, physical, religious Creed and sex.


Recently,  there has been a picture of five students in uniform allegedly ready to smoke the illegal substance like 'wee' which is circulating all the local Media Platform in the country and outside.


These students are from Mankessim Senior High Technical School. There students had their pieces in their hands ready to set it rolling,one could also be seen injecting himself with unknown substances.


Because of these boys bad behavior in the school is giving the school a bad name now which is leading to disgrace to the school.


Because of  this attitude has called on the school authorities to deal with them drastically so as to maintain the integrity of the school which will also serve as deterrent to other students who have plans to practice that bad habit to deter parents from enrolling this wards in the school.
