Yesterday  (29th May, Saturday) was the day that Manchester City played Chelsea in the finals for the Champions League cup. Both teams did their best and fought a good fight between each other.




Yesterday's  final was held at the Estadio do Dragao, home of FC Porto. It was originally intended for Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic stadium but Covid-19 restrictions meant UEFA decided to switch the venue earlier this month.






When we go to a little history about these two teams who are playing today, Manchester City are one of the twelve English football clubs to have won a European title, in City's case the 1969 - 70 cup winners.


Since then the club has qualified for European competition on a regular basis, reaching the final for the first time in the clubs' history during the 2020 - 21 UEFA Champions League.




Chelsea, meanwhile, won the competition in 2012 and were in the final for the third time with Manchester City yesterday. According to records on who has won the Champions League the most times, Real Madrid is with 13 Champions League titles, followed by AC Milan 7, Liverpool 6, FC Bayern Munich 6.




During the match yesterday there was a very fantastic game played, Manchester City against Chelsea. The supporters did their best to support their teams and show them some love they have for them yesterday which was very nice at the stadium.



During the match Chelsea scored one (1) goal in 36 minutes which Manchester City wasn't able to score back before they went in for 45minutes break for the first half. They came back after the break and continued to play the game till 90 minutes plus 7 extra time, but Manchester City couldn't do anything about this which made them lose the game yesterday.



So Chelsea Become the winner for yesterday's Champions League finals and there was a celebration all over the country and the stadium where the match occurs.
